Formosa Plastics Steel Selection Instructions:
1. Select the appropriate grade depending on the size of the molded product.
2. Generally, FM090 is the first choice. Those who need better toughness can choose R6 or FM025. If the liquidity is insufficient, FM130 can be used instead.
3. Small molded products need to have good fluidity, and FM270, FM450, etc. can be used;
4.For large molded products and when the required quantity of finished products is small, extrusion-grade FM025 can be used to extrude round bars or plates, and then be processed into the required objects by chiseling or other methods.
5. The above are simple general rules for general material selection, but the decision still needs to be made based on the needs of the molded product, processing machine, processing conditions and mold design.
6. When there are special requirements for the use of POM, such as weather resistance, impact resistance, high lubrication, wear resistance, etc., appropriate specifications will be recommended and developed to meet customer needs.
