PA610 (Polyamide 610, Nylon610) is a long-chain polyamide with approx. 62% bio-based carbon content derived from
renewable castor-oil feedstock.
Compared with PA6 & PA66, PA610 features drastically reduced water absorption for outstanding dimensional stability. Itdelivers excellent resistance to oil, gasoline, chemicals, plus good-40°C low-temperature toughness and self-lubricating
wear-resistance.
We supply multiple grades: injection-molding grade, extrusion grade, spinning chip, GF10-GF30 glass-fiber reinforced, fame-retardant & UV-stabilized modifications. Widely applied in automotive pipes & fittings, engine -bay connectors, cable sheaths, toothbrush & industrial bristles, fishing monofilaments, precision gears & bushes, water/gas-meter components, SLS 3D-printing powders.

Application

1. Automotive Fuel Lines / Oil Delivery Lines / Vacuum Tubes (Extrusion Grade)   Typical uses: Commercial-vehicle air brake tubes, engine-compartment vacuum hoses, short-section fuel transfer pipes. (Continuous main fuel pipes mostly adopt PA12 / PA11; PA610 is applied for joint sections and oil-resistant segments). Key Specifications: Low-permeation resistance to gasoline; 24-hr water absorption ≤1.3%; melting point 215~225°C; no cracking under impact at −40°C; tensile strength 55-70MPa.
2. Automotive Engine-Compartment Connectors / Coil Bobbins / Fuse-Box Brackets (Injection Molding Grade) Typical uses: Moisture-resistant engine-bay connectors, ignition coil bobbins  Key Specifications: 24-hr water absorption 0.3~1.0%; HDT @0.45MPa 160-180°C; volume resistivity 10¹¹~10¹²Ω·m; Charpy notched impact ≥4 kJ/m² @23°C.
3. Cable Sheaths / Wire Jacketing (Flexible Extrusion Grade) Typical uses: Oil & weather-resistant control-cable sheaths, outer jackets for industrial drag-chain cables Key Specifications: Elongation at break ≥100% (dry condition; up to 300% after conditioning); Taber abrasion ~6 mg; dielectric strength ~30 kV/mm; UL94 V-2 (V-0 achievable with flame-retardant modification).

Toothbrush Filaments / Industrial Bristles / Textile Healds (Monofilament Grade) Typical uses: Dupont Tynex-style toothbrush bristles, robot-vacuum roller brushes, textile-machine healds Key Specifications: Tensile strength ~60 MPa; flexural modulus 2000 MPa; dry-state Charpy notched impact 48J/m (≈5 kJ/m²); melt temperature ~245 °C for monofilament extrusion.
5. Fishing Lines / Grass-Trimmer Lines / Premium Monofilaments (High-Strength Drawing Grade) Typical uses: Mid-to-high-end fishing lines, lawn-trimmer lines (partial replacement for PA6 monofilaments; UV-modified grades deliver superior outdoor stability). Key Specifications: Elongation at break 120-230%; Charpy notched impact 8-9 kJ/m² @−40 °C; density 1.07-1.08 g/cm³ (6% lighter than PA66).
6. Mechanical Transmission Components: Small Gears / Bearing Bushes / Sliders (Injection-molded & Self-lubricated) Typical uses: Office-equipment gears, home-appliance drive gears, pump impeller wear rings, textile-machine sliding parts. Key Specifications: Dry friction coefficient ~0.15; wear rate approx. 50% lower than PA6; flexural modulus 2000-2500 MPa; long-term service temperature 100-120 °C.
7. Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Structural Parts (10%-30% GF, PA610+GF) Typical uses: 10%GF for automotive clips & cable ties (Avient NI-10GF: tensile strength 82.7 MPa, flexural modulus 4140 MPa); 30%GF for sports-equipment frames, outdoor fasteners. Key Specifications: HDT @1.8 MPa rises from 80 °C (neat resin) to above 190 °C; mold shrinkage reduced to 0.3-0.6%; no brittleness at −40°C.
8. High-Dimensional-Stability Precision Parts: SIM Card Trays / Instrument Housings / Sensor Enclosures Typical uses: Consumer-electronics SIM card trays, automotive humidity-sensor housings (performance relies on low-moisture-absorption-driven dimensional stability). Key Specifications: Saturated water absorption only 1.4% (vs. 8.5% for PA66); mold shrinkage 0.5-1.2%; dimensional drift <0.2% after conditioning @23°C.
