High Density Polyethylene (High Density Polyethylene, referred to as "HDPE"), also known as low pressure polyethylene, is a kind of high crystallinity, non-polar surface is a certain degree of translucent. PE has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals.
HDPE is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. High-density polyethylene is a white powder granular product, non-toxic, tasteless, density in the range of 0.940~0.976 g/cm3; The crystallinity is 80%~90%, the softening point is 125~135ºC, and the use temperature can reach 100ºC; Melting temperature 120~160ºC, for large molecular materials, it is recommended that the melting temperature range between 200~250ºC. It has good heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, but also has high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength. Dielectric properties, environmental stress cracking resistance is also good. The hardness, tensile strength and creep properties are better than those of low density polyethylene. Good wear resistance, electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance, but slightly worse than low density insulation; Good chemical stability, at room temperature, insoluble in any organic solvent, acid, alkali and various salts corrosion resistance; The film has low permeability to water vapor and air and low water absorption. The aging resistance is poor, the environmental cracking resistance is not as good as low-density polyethylene, especially the thermal oxidation will reduce its performance, so the resin needs to add antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers to improve this deficiency. The thermal deformation temperature of high-density polyethylene film under stress is low, which should be paid attention to when applied.

Used for extruding packaging films, ropes, woven nets, fishing nets, water pipes, injection molding lower grade daily necessities and shells, non-load bearing components, plastic boxes, turnover boxes, extrusion blow molding containers, hollow products, bottles.
Used for hollow molding products and blown film products such as food bags, grocery bags, fertilizer lining film and so on.
