Product Description

• Polar Modification to Make Up for Inherent Defects of Polypropylene

   

  Polypropylene (PP) is a non-polar polyolefin with low surface tension, poor adhesion and interfacial compatibility. Through chemical grafting, MAH-g-PP introduces maleic anhydride polar functional groups onto the PP molecular backbone. It fully retains all superior intrinsic properties of PP, while endowing the material with excellent polarity, adhesion and interfacial bonding capability.
• Integrated Multi-functional Performance

   

  It combines four key functions: compatibilizing, coupling, dispersing and adhering. It acts as a compatibilizer for blends of PP and polar polymers, a coupling agent for glass fiber, mineral powder, natural fibers and other fillers, as well as an adhesive resin for multi-layer composite products. One single grade meets diverse plastic modification requirements.
• Excellent Processability & Compatibility with Standard Equipment

   

  It inherits PP's advantages including low density, outstanding chemical resistance, good low-temperature toughness and superior weatherability. Commercial grades feature excellent thermal stability and a wide processing temperature window. They resist decomposition and yellowing during high-temperature extrusion and injection molding, and are directly compatible with conventional plastic and rubber production lines without equipment modification.
• Remarkably Improved Comprehensive Performance of Composites

   

  When added into formulations, it effectively improves filler dispersion in PP matrix and eliminates filler agglomeration. It significantly enhances mechanical properties such as tensile strength, flexural strength and impact resistance. Meanwhile, it reduces water absorption, optimizes dimensional stability and minimizes product warpage and deformation.
