BY CHIJIANG WE CAN CUSTOMIZED ANY PRODUCTS YOU NEED
Reinforcement Modification
Glass-fiber reinforced PBT (GF-PBT) is a widely used modified PBT that enhances its strength, rigidity, and toughness. Depending on the application, the fiber content can range from 10% to 50%, resulting in materials suitable for automotive, electronic, and power tool industries. At our company, we can customize GF-PBT granules based on the requirements of the end-users.
Flame-retardant Modification
In the case of fire, PBT may release toxic gases and halogens, which could cause harm to humans and the environment. To prevent this, PBT can be modified with flame-retardant additives such as aluminum trihydrate (ATH), phosphorous, or nitrogen compounds. The resulting flame-retardant PBT (FR-PBT) provides excellent mechanical properties along with a high level of safety. FR-PBT is suitable for applications such as home appliances, electrical equipment, and building materials.
Alloy Modification
The blend of PBT with other polymers like PET, ABS, or PC can result in alloys that combine the properties of both components. For example, the blend of PBT and PET can lead to a material that has improved toughness, flexibility, and transparency. Similarly, a blend of PBT and ABS can offer excellent impact resistance and thermal stability. The alloy modification of PBT is suitable for industries such as automotive, electronic, and industrial machinery.
Other Modification
In addition to the above, our company also offers other modified PBT products, such as halogen-free flame-retardant PBT (HFFR-PBT) for the new energy vehicle industry, and PBT with low warpage and excellent appearance for various applications.
