Features of TARFLON™

PC resin TARFLON™ is an engineering plastic with high transparency, self-extinguishing properties, and the highest impact resistance among plastics.
It is used in a variety of fields, including optical discs, motorcycle windshields, helmets and helmet shields, carport and arcade roofing materials, highway soundproofing boards, and automobile headlamps.
 

IDEMITSU Japan Idemitsu polycarbonate resin is a product obtained by continuous solvent-based phosgene interfacial polycondensation process. It makes full use of Idemitsu's own patented high-purity and high-quality BPA bisphenol A as the main raw material. Therefore, Idemitsu Tarflon polycarbonate has many outstanding characteristics and has a thick and flexible chain molecular structure. It is famous for its high impact resistance, good transparency and heat resistance, as well as excellent precision and electrical properties. Idemitsu Tarflon is now widely used in many fields such as household goods, office equipment, mobile devices, communication equipment, LCD backlight components and other display devices, automobiles, lighting, etc. Among them, Taflon LC1500 specifications have been widely used in LCD backlight components and automotive daylight running lights (DRL). In addition, Idemitsu's new polycarbonate "TARFLON-NEO" uses silicone copolymer polycarbonate resin produced by copolymerization technology to improve the low-temperature impact resistance and/or weather resistance of ordinary polycarbonate. APPLICATION
                

1>. PC is made into large bulb shade, protective glass, the right and left eyepiece tube of optical instruments. Also, it is used as the transparent materials in plane.

2> . PC is good insulation, made into insulated connector, coil frame, tube socket, insulating sleeve, telephone housing and parts, miner's lamp battery shell. Also, it is used to make fine parts of communication equipment, such as CD-ROM, telephone, computer, video recorder, telephone switches, signal relay. The PC film is used for capacitors, insulation foreskin, recorder, color video tape. etc

3>. PC can be made into cap, tube, bottle and dental equipment, drug containers and surgical instruments. Even be used as an artificial kidney, artificial lung and other artificial organs.
