GPPS are glossy, transparent particles. Light quality, low price, low water absorption, good coloring, dimensional stability, good electrical properties, transparent products, easy processing.GPPS are soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, aliphatic ketones and esters but can only swell. It is resistant to some mineral  oils, organic acids, bases, salts, lower alcohols and  their aqueous solutions.  It has low water absorption and can maintain its mechanical properties and dimensional stability in humid environment. Excellent electrical performance, volume resistance and surface resistance are high, and is not affected by temperature, humidity changes, also not affected by corona discharge. Radiation resistance is also very good.

Easy processability

GPPS 525 is crystal polystyrene for both injection molding and cap-layer co-extrusion. Mechanical and heat resistance properties: Good mechanical and heat resistance properties. Injection molding applications such as medical and laboratory parts, tumblers and jewel boxes demonstrate the polymer's ability to be molded with minimal stresses and fast cycles.

Light Diffuse Plate (LDP) and Light Guide Plate (LGP): GON535N is an ideal material for manufacturing LDPs and LGPs, which are essential components in lighting and display technologies.  Its high transparency and optical clarity ensure efficient light diffusion and guidance, making it suitable for use in consumer electronics, LED lighting, and display panels.

Foamed Articles: GON535N is well-suited for producing high-quality foamed articles through physical or chemical foaming processes.  This includes foam containers, labels, and profiles, such as PSP (Polystyrene Paper) and XPS (Extruded Polystyrene).  The material's heat resistance and mechanical properties contribute to the durability and stability of these foamed products.

Replacement for SAN and PMMA: GON535N can replace SAN (Styrene Acrylonitrile) and PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) in various applications, such as water filter containers, pen parts, and other transparent components.  It offers similar transparency and strength but with improved processability and cost-effectiveness.
