Product Description

      Ethylene Acrylic Acid (EAA) is a thermoplastic and highly adhesive polymer. Due to the presence of carboxyl groups and the action of hydrogen bonds, the crystallization of the polymer is inhibited, and the linearity of the main chain is broken, so the transparency and toughness of EAA are improved, and the melting point and softening point are lowered.

      When MI is the same, the transparency, toughness, adhesion and environmental stress cracking resistance of EAA will increase with the increase of AA content. On the contrary, its rigidity, wet steam transmission, creep resistance, chemical resistance will be better.

      When AA content is the same, the adhesion and processability of EAA will be better with the increase of MI. On the contrary, its toughness and resistance to environmental stress cracking will increase.

Application field:
EAA is widely used in packaging, powder coating, adhesive, hot melt adhesive, sealing materials, water-based solvents, etc., the following is a brief introduction:

     1.Packaging: extrusion coating production of beverage cartons, toothpaste tubes, cable shielding layer, while EAA also has anti-tear, anti-puncture, anti-corrosion and other protective effects;

     2.Powder coating :EAA powder can be sprayed on the surface of pipes, steel, non-woven fabrics and other materials, as anti-corrosion materials;

     3.Hot melt adhesive: EAA with high performance and high MI can produce hot melt adhesive for difficult bonding materials;

     4.Water-based solvent: EAA with high AA content and high MI can be dissolved in hot alkaline solution under appropriate reaction conditions, and water-based adhesive can be prepared for clothing materials, etc.

     5.Degradable environmental protection materials :EAA and starch based materials can be blended to produce degradable plastics.
